The Hartford Club Golf League plays a nine-hole round every Wednesday from the end of April to the end of August. The weekly competitions are typically followed by dinner and revelry at the 19th hole, which occasionally occurs back at the Club. Handicaps, designed to ensure that players of all skill and experience levels can fairly compete with one another are set up and maintained by the Committee. At the end of the season, the member who has accumulated the most points wins a memento for their keeping and more importantly, has their name immortalized on “The Cup”, a permanently installed trophy prominently displayed at the Club.
